RILL HOUSE
Rill House is Grade II Listed in a Conservation Zone situated in the heart of an Area of Natural Beauty, in a quiet picturesque lane. Lovingly refurbished, it is full of character features and offers extensive space for guests, both indoors and out.
South facing private courtyard with the sound of our stream provides an ideal spot for summer barbecues and soaking up the sun. The stunning, huge, enclosed garden is perfect for children and dogs to play and explore. It’s perfect for a friendly – if slightly competitive – game of boule, croquet, or several other outdoor games. Our private courtyard provides parking for up to three cars. There are water sports for all ages on our three-mile-long dog-friendly beach outside the village.
The extensive accommodation has a double aspect lounge with a wood burner for cosy winter nights in, a separate adjoining dining room for enjoying great food and company, and a spacious kitchen breakfast room for casual dining and eating. All four bedrooms are generous in size, and all enjoy views across the village to the church with window seats to take in the views. We have three king-size bedrooms and two full-sizesingle beds in the fourth bedroom. We provide two highchairs, travel cots, and a stair gate for younger guests.
We are dog owners and have always had three large dogs, so we understand the needs of dog owners completely. We don’t have a limit on the number of dogs, their breed or size, and they are welcome in all rooms. We know that holiday time is precious, and our guests don’t want to spend it researching where to walk, eat, drink, visit and shop once they arrive - so, we have done the research for them with our online guide.
Public Transport
Our closest train station is Totnes, from there you can get a Taxi the 13 miles to Slapton. The village has a community shop. Dartmouth and Kingsbridge are 7 miles away from Slapton also accessible by taxi.
